Performing a Measurement System Analysis (MSA) with spreadsheets poses a number of challenges. The many calculations and formulas require a great deal of manual effort. Incorrect cell references and a lack of plausibility checks can quickly lead to incorrect results. This can be an obstacle to meeting the requirements of standards such as IATF 16949 or VDA Vol. 5 and ensuring product quality.

The MSA Software PMM.Net enables analyses that allow you to verify the capability of measuring and inspection equipment. You can use the software to examine accuracy, repeatability, reproducibility, linearity, and stability.

The common MSA procedures are fully implemented in PMM.Net – this applies to both quantitative and attributive inspection processes. An integrated wizard also supports you in simple inspection equipment analyses according to MSA procedures 1 - 3.

PMM.Net supports you in the MSA process by automatically creating inspection plans using its own plan types, dynamic measurement data acquisition, and evaluations with capability indices that can be generated at the touch of a button. In addition, standard-compliant reports are integrated and can be generated and distributed directly. You can also plan and control recurring MSA inspections directly and distribute results and notifications automatically to defined recipients. PMM.Net thus enables efficient, secure, and fully documented measurement system analysis.

Can external inspection or calibration laboratories be integrated?

Yes, you can exchange data with external service providers and laboratories in accordance with VDI/VDE 2623 in CDE format with the integration of external certificates, or request calibrations via the interface at Perschmann Calibration GmbH integrated in PMM.Net.
